My name is Nelly and I am studying Global Communication in Business and Culture. At the beginning of 2025, I spent a semester abroad in Newcastle, England. This experience showed me that foreignness can also mean familiarity. The coastal landscape of the Cleveland Way had a powerful impact on me: rough, honest and inspiring.
In addition to my interest in languages and intercultural communication, I am passionate about writing. My own psychological thriller is set in this very location. The setting is inspired by the Cleveland Way, but the story itself is completely original.
