Hi, I´m Meryem and this is my blog post: a little glimpse into my experiences abroad. I spent a semester at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, right in the heart of a vibrant, fast moving metropolis. Everything was new: the language, the food, even the pace, which I had to get used to first. Despite all the challenges, I met people who welcomed me with warmth and kindness. I learned that "being foreign" isnt´t just a phase, it´s an exciting way of life. And yes, I discovered a lot more about myself than I ever expected.
