My name is Yasmin, I’m 25 and currently studying Global Communication in Business and Culture in Mittweida. I’ve spent a semester abroad in Viborg, Denmark. I was nervous beforehand, not because of the language, the culture, or the academic expectations, but rather because I brought my son with me, who was 5 years old at the time. All those worries turned out to be unnecessary, because it was not only a wonderful experience for us to see new environments, but also because we learned a lot from Denmark and from ourselves as a family.
